Letter 1907, Oct. 18, Lake Tahoe, California [to] Mrs. Anna Catheine Markham, [Staten Island, N.Y.] / Katherine (Kittie) Chandler. 1907.

Kittie writes a long letter to Anna. She thanks Anna for her Christmas Present. She has been very busy and apologizes for not writting in such a long time. She wants Anna to read Dan's letter which presents her view on Glen Pine. She discribes it. There was an article on Markham in the Overland which brought back warm memories. She talks about her children Dix and Gardner are in school and her George and his automoblie. She wants Evenlyn's address in Freewater, Oregon. she has just had the house fixed from the earthquake. Mabel says it is lovely. She mentions many first names of people. I don't know if they are family or friends and tells what they are doing. She sees Charles Aiken in town. It seems she is filling Anna in on the news of their friends in California.
